Travel Trailer Bunk Bed Rails

This is on my Passport 2910 BH. I picked these up from a bunk bed store and cut em down. They already matched as far as the stain/color. The Ladders were purchased from the same store. I went through the plywood only on top and bottom of the bed with the brackets. Therefor I used boards on the bottom side to keep the bolts from pulling through. The brackets are from home depot and are 10 times stronger than they appear. I can stand on the bottom bunk pull hard and they hardly give at all.

Sent from my iPhone using Thanks. Couldn't see putten tow little girls up there without something. I've always found it bizarre that the RV and Trailer companies don't add something at the factory.

Ya my sons friend took a nose dive In the middle of the night on our first trip. It was pretty scary. The top bunks haven't been used since.

We may need to do this. My son prefers the top bunk and fell off on our last outing. Scared the whole family. That's a long drop from that top bunk.
