"Solar Reay" 2019 Fuzion

Hi there, we just picked up another fuzion. a 419. On the rood is a solar reay set of plugs.
What exactly is solar ready? Can I plug some panels in and keep our batteries charged? Is there any kind of inline display for theis? thnks

The roof port has cables called PV solar wires that lead down to the storage compartment in most Keystone toy haulers. If you bought it from a dealer they should have shown you what the system consists of. If it is still factory prepped - but nothing has been done, those PV wires terminate-capped- and are not ready for use. Putting a panel on the roof and plugging in will make these wires HOT, but without a charge controller, disconnects, fuses, etc, the Solar Ready is just a marketing scheme.

If you bought used from a previous owner, ask them if anything was done to make it usable.

To make it a usable system, you'll need to go slow and learn about the components that make a solar system work.
