Passport “America”?

I was flipping through an RV magazine last night and DW looks over and says “that’s ironic”. What is? I said. “It’s an ad for Passport America and everything is on the wrong side of the road”. Damn, she’s right as usual. I have flipped past that ad at least once a month for two years and never noticed.

I wonder if that’s a 2 lane “one way” road in a campground.

If it is a "two lane one way road" in a campground, there's a "no passing solid yellow stripe in the curve just ahead of that motorhome.

Most likely the editor told the layout dept to flip the image so it fit the page.

I believe Marshall is correct. The car on the right is headed the wrong direction as is the rig on the left. Or it could be any of the roads around west Tennessee.

I wonder if the marketing emails read right to left? I’ve seen a lot of advertisements on line and even on tv where the photo is flipped and even some very short footage was played backwards (fire ring, light smoke was entering the flames!)

Perhaps it was meant to be read in a mirror? Michelangelo did that a lot they say.

I figured it was flipped by someone making it look nice on the page. Typical of many media today, no one proofs for accuracy or truth....but damn it looks good.

Maybe I should have finished my coffee before I replied

Look closely at the tags on that RV - I don't recognize that from the U.S. Look at the wording on the PA add referencing the all new "international camping directory" and, looking at the road the no passing stripes are accurate for a vehicle traveling in that direction in that lane - they would not be correct if the RV was in the wrong lane....as best I can tell. I figure that is a pic from Europe somewhere - but then again, it took me two hours to find my other pair of socks.....
