AC Run off

- Ran the AC for the first time this weekend, and noticed that the run off comes right down the rear corner and doesn't run over to the eavestroughs then down.
- My old fifth wheel had it running to the eavestroughs.

- What's everyone else's like?
- I'm thinking it would be mold and mildew waiting to happen??

I would think that as long as it is running off the roof you would be fine:

It might be just a tiny bit helpful to know what unit you have. Mine runs to the gutter on the port side and then runs forward when the unit is level.

- Yeah, I just hate seeing it run down the back wall and splash off of the bumper.
- It doesn't look right.

- Sorry, I haven't added a signature. (I'll do it as soon as I'm done replying to this)
- Port side is the awning side right?

It may be best to look on the top while the A/C is running to see if there is anything along the side to dam up the water and making it flow to the rear. The water from the A/C and rail will both take the same path.

- I did just that, and the water was coming out the rear of the AC and running to the back edge of the trailer.
- My roof is lower there, making it run down the back by the ladder.
