New to me trailer

A follow up from my post about ordering a new trailer back in Aug.
Travel Trailer was going to be a 2022 Outdoors backcountry 24krs.
Dealer would not sign a sales contract due to up coming price increases, they just took an order and down payment. Well it went from 47,500 to 53,995 last month to another 5,600 gain on all trailers not delivered by Dec 6th. My trailer was not to be built until March/April.
We started looking at used trailers since the Half Ton Cougar a 2013 24rkswe sold last month.
After about a week my wife found the same Outdoors 24krs in 2018 only this one is named a Timber Ridge model. Meaning no on board genny and a few other small changes.
It was not detailed yet when we looked it over, but signed a sales contract providing it was cleaned and I inspected it. My PDI was last Thursday all was good.
The biggest difference I found between this and all others I owned is the slide motor. It has a Schwintek motor/track system. It has 2 motors, one on each side wall next to the slide. 2 tracks on each side of the slide, a upper and lower track. So nothing under the slide moving it.
It took us most of 2 days to pack up all the stuff from the Keystone and about 2 days to load it all into the new trailer. Who travels light? I guess I don't.
Somehow there is more cabinet space in this trailer vs the Keystone of the same size. GVWR is 9995 lbs. vs 7200 on the Keystone. Parts guy wanted me to buy a WDH with 1,000 lb bars. I paid more and got 1500 lb bars with a 2.5 inch stinger on a blue ox hitch. I am guessing the tongue wt will be 12-1300lbs on the loaded trailer.
I will be still around, just not as active. Merry Christmas to everyone on here and Happy Camping. Ken

Congrats on your new to you purchase. You’ll find the schwintek system is very reliable, as long as you understand it’s “quirks”.

Try not to stop in the middle of travel, or the slide may come “out of time”. Simple to fix but can very frustrating to a newbie when/if it happens. Feel free to PM me for more information.

Thanks, I am still reading through all the manuals. The PDI guy said the same.
