RV campgrounds between Vancouver & White Salmon?

We're going to Takhlakh Lake nestled under Mt Adams (not saying which date for security reasons) and have to go the long route from Tacoma as the northern/western roads are all damaged, being repaired, so we have to go all the way down to the Columbia River, up to White Salmon, then up through Trout Lake to Takhlakh Lake.

We're taking our time so we want to stop between Vancouver & White Salmon somewhere for the night. Is there any good RV places we can just pulling in without hooking up etc. A pull through is preferred.

Here is last year at this lake... heaven on earth!

No clue if your staying on the Wa side. If I-84 is your route there is 2 state parks between PDX and the White Salmon bridge. 1 is Ainsworth, it's closed from last years fire the other, Memaloose had a fire at the rest area part, unsure if it's open. Only private park I know of is the fishery mp 35 off I84. It may be full of salmon fishermen. State parks # I have is 1800- 452-5687 for reservations. Warning any park in the gorge will be noisy from freeway traffic on I84 and railroad traffic on boths sides. Trains run throughout the night.
