Show us your "toys".

Ok, let's keep it clean. Not "those" toys.

I've had this 1969 Nova since I was 15. Wife says I would get rid of her before the car since it's been around longer. And if anybody asks...it's bone stock...

Ok, busted in that. I still have the original wheels and dog dish hubcaps. Just trust the "307" badges.

That is awesome. A dream of mine. Maybe a hobby I can get into when I retire and get another job...

I just called my DW to "come see, come see" pointed at the picture of your "toy" and she looked at it, looked at me, walked over, sat down on the corner of the sofa and started reading her Kindle. Not a word for almost 10 minutes, so I'm guessing my summation of flying it "solo" would definitely be in the works if I did just go "get one for myself".... Sheesh, just no sense of humor tonight

Wow, lots of you guys with airplanes.....that is pretty cool right there. I do all of my flying on the ground. Probably a bit less expensive but definitely an adrenaline rush for me. I've seen 175 mph on the back straightaway at Road Atlanta and regularly see 165 mph on the front straight at NCM in Bowling Green. If I ever hit the lottery, one of the very first things I'd like to do is to take lessons and learn to fly helicopters, then purchase a nice personal one.

That is definitely flying on the ground! How many knee pads you go through?

About one set per year. I've gotten to the point though that I basically just use them as a "feeler"! When a knee puck touches down, I know how far over I have the bike leaned and then I usually just bring my knee back up a little bit so that it's not touching all the way around the corner. Otherwise, I'd go through a set every couple of track days if I just left it on the pavement during the entire turn.

What a great idea for a thread

I posted this recently, in another thread that got side tracked into cars.

Here is my Baby a 2003 Mustang SVT Cobra, I ordered it on Job 1 day, May 1 2002 and took delivery on Sept 26.

My sales guy sent his wife to get me, with the necessary paperwork and she drove me to the rail yard, so I could pick it up, I Put the first 75 miles on it, before I owned it.

It is my dry days only car and lives in the garage... every takeoff brings a smile to my face still. When I die, my kids can fight over it, I'll never get rid of it.

For wet days I have this to drive

1970 F250 4x4 "Highboy". Have owned it 17 years and rebuilt everything that can be rebuilt.

1979 Corvette. "The Money Pit". A work in progress. She took a bump on the nose resulting in 12 cracks. Had to learn fiberglass repair. Powered by a bored 4 bolt main 350 with some "go fast" additions and a 4 speed tranny.
