Mildew on Awning

Finally got the Passport 'set up' in the front driveway to start cleaning and freshening and getting ready for camping season. No nasty suprises! Well, except a bit of mildew or mold on the underside of the awning. Any suggestions on product/method to clean this up? On the old pop up I just mixed a bit of bleach water in a spritzer and sprayed it down, wiped it and rinsed with a hose. Rather unpleasant when standing under the awning with the bleach water dripping on me. Thanks in advance!

Maybe try Spray Nine (If you have or can find it) Works great on everything I use it for. About the best bug gut remover money can buy.

Sparrow that's basically what I do.
I get a 2 gallon bucket and mix car wash soap and a little bleach.
I have a step ladder and climb to toss the solution on top of the awning. Do this 4-6 times.
After the whole top side has a coating, I roll it up for 10-20 minutes. Not letting the solution dry up.
Unroll awning.
I mix up one more batch.
Using the step ladder with a adjustable pole and a soft bristle brush, I scrub the top, then bottom. This is the drippy part.
Rinse.
Let it totally dry.

It's kinda of a dirty practice, but cleans up really well.

Bleach is the best to get rid of mold or mildew. I second the opinion of Magic Erasers! I haven't found anything yet that they won't get rid of. Good Luck!

I have had very good luck with Thetford RV Awning Cleaner. This product works great for me, I have used it on both of my 5ers with excellent results. This can be purchased at Walmart, auto parts stores, I have seen it at my local NAPA store or you might be able to find it at K-mart also. As a last resort you can buy from Camping World. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...g-cleaner/3353
