Bedroom AC Unit
I have a 2014 Cougar 280RLS. I am thinking of adding the second AC unit in the bedroom. Has anyone had any experience with a 9200 BTU unit?. The bedroom is not real big, and I don't know if we need a 13500 BTU unit.

So your bedroom vent is prewired for a second A/C?
If it is, then is the second unit going to be ducted (tied into the existing ductwork) or non ducted?
I would think if your going non ducted then the 9200 BTU would be plenty.

We have a non-ducted 13.5 in our bedroom and it gets a workout in the Texas heat.. wouldn't want anything smaller..

Javi, thanks for replying. Now that I see the OP is in Texas too, you would know better than me.

I'm a marine air conditioning dealer and I assure you that in Texas, you need everything you can get and then some, especially on the coast. The heat and humidity down there can be brutal. When my customers ask me what size they need, I tell them, the biggest one that will fit.

Thanks for all the replies. I am in Texas now, however we are selling and going full time. We are tired of the heat and humidity in Houston. Guess i'll go with the 13500btu.

Full time I would definitely get the bigger one as you would want as many choices as you can get. Might want to consider a heat strip or even a heat pump model.
