Lippert Automatic Leveling system
My system keeps saying I have error on the left front jack, and I can't use the auto level feature. I have gone so far as to disconnect the battery, but it still won't clear the error. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just a guess but check to see if the
Left Front leg has extended as far as it can go.
It is possible it is extended to the end of travel.
If so, you may need some blocks under it.

Had the same issue. If you hold the retract button for a several seconds, the legs will start to retract. After retracting a short distance, release the retract button. Address what caused the issue (i.e. putting a block under the effected leg) then hit auto level.

I'm sure you have done this already, but just to make sure....you have to hit the enter button to acknowledge the error or it won't clear, have you done that?

Had the same problem. The problem would actually go from one jack to the other and never correct. Called Lippert and did what is called "home" the jacks. Press and hold the retract button until all the jacks begin retracting automatically, release the button and the jacks will automatically retract until they reach the hard current limit. They are then "homed". My problem was I didn't place anything under the rear jack and I think they tried to extend to far. Now I place a pair of 6x6 blocks side by side underneath each jack and haven't had a problem since. Good luck

Thanks for the link Stew. Maybe after 10 months I might be able to figure out why the left front of the RV is always out of plain.....

Good News
I followed the advice from Stew, and the LCI troubleshooting Guide, and used the Homing Jacks technique. Took about 5 minutes, and cleared the error. I then hit auto level, and off she went. Thanks for all the advice.

Glad it worked. I fought it for a few frustrating hours then got totally mad when it went from one jack to another...

I had a similiar issue. I would receive the error for the RR jack. I could clear it, but it continued to do it. Finally had to take it back in and the dealer replaced the sensor. Something to think about if you continue to receive it.

Depending on the type of leveling system you have (electric vs hydraulic) and the model, the link will be different. Go to this website link,: http://www.lci1.com/support-center
on the left side about 6 or 7 down you'll find "Leveling and Stabilization Selections", click on that and a sub-menu will open. select the appropriate section and you can select components, manuals or videos to help you get the answers and troubleshooting guides you need.
Good Luck

In case the link doesn't work or is not the item you're having trouble with...go to http://www.lci1.com click on customer service then click on the system you need. Then click on electric or hydraulic. On that page you can click on the specific item you're problem is with. Once there, scroll down and there will be a drop down menu that says manuals. Open the menu and you should have the options for whatever manual you are looking for. They definitely have them buried in several layers navigate through. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help

Our problem with the leveling system was a little different. Since the day it was delivered, the Montana jacks would not completely retract without recycling several times. Finally, to fix another problem, we discovered a defective breaker in the 12 volt system. With that fixed, the jacks work as advertised. When plugged into shore power, they worked fine but I almost always unplug and put the power cord away before retracting jacks because it's hard to get to the storage compartment when hooked up. Anyway, works great now.

Auto Level Error
We had a similar problem with the LF error then LR error then LM error and so forth that wouldnt clear, even hooked it back up to the truck for our trip so I could fully retract the legs. Upon arrival auto level still didnt work, same errors. So, called Lippert and they said I had to re-calibrate the whole thing. So I hooked it back up to the truck and held the retract button until everything was up and stopped moving "re-homed" and then set down front legs and unhitched and hit auto level and everything worked great. Tech at Lippert said you cant have more than 3 holes showing in the front jacks or it wont work.
