Washer/Dryer vent.

I tried getting by using our vented Splendide 2100XC W/D without a vent and it wasn't working for us.
Today I got around to installing the vent which is almost too easy with a toy hauler with W/D prep in the garage. The wall was marked where we should put the vent so it made drilling a 4" hole into the side of a brand new trailer a little less stressful.

Nothing on the outside of our camper is chrome, does this vent stick out too much or does it look like it belongs there? I did mount it a tad high so we could still remove and put back our carpet for loading the bikes without having to remove the hose on the vent.

I think it looks real good

You could find a powder coater and change it to black if you wanted to match the exterior.

It's hard plastic so powder coating is out but I'm sure I could plasti dip it, I'm going to give it a week and see if I even notice. If it is too out of place for me by then I'll try getting it to blend a little better.

Used Krylon Fusicon spray paint to paint mine black. I installed my own W/D combo. Bought the white paintable vent kit.

The OL likes the chrome so I guess that settles that. On a side note, these Splendide 2100XC washer/dryers are so quiet! I can't tell its running over my A/C unless I look in the spin window.

I hope it meets our needs and I'm sure it will. Were taking advantage of the sales going on at PPL right now until the 16th. We saved hundreds compared to camping worlds price.

Also just ordered an RV king sleep number bed from PPL for over $300 cheaper than CW. Were just about ready to take off to the mountains for a few weeks and should be plenty comfortable!
