Greetings everyone. I'm new here and new to Keystone RV's and toyhaulers. I've got a couple questions that I hope someone can answer. The dealer was pretty vague on the 1st one and seemed confident on the 2nd one which worries me a bit.
1.) The 357 has 2 black water and 2 grey water tanks. The Carbon spec sheet shows 69 gallons of each. Any idea on how that is broken up? Is one black/grey tank larger than the other?
2.) This is more subjective and seems to be pretty polarizing in all the forums I've visited but I have a 2006 Dodge 2500 Quad-Cab pickup with a 6.25 box and the 5.9 Cummins that has a cold-air intake and a Edge EZ pushing it. It's got tons of power and I've recently added Timbrens on the rear and am running Bilstein shocks (not lifted) but other than that, the suspension is stock. I've got the 18k Superslider hitch and I've pulled the 357 home from the dealership with ease but I have not been out camping in it yet and it worries me that my truck isn't enough for it. I've seen dozens of pictures and read dozens of people that pull this size of toy hauler with the same truck but it doesn't make me feel a whole lot better because I've seen similar amount that say a 1 ton is necessary. The dealer said I would be "fine" but then again, they just wanted to sell their product to me.
I would love to get your opinions and maybe some pictures and real-world experience notes on towing something similar.
Thanks in advance!
