Movie- ' The long, long trailer'

Just watched the movie online . If u do, go to the veoh.com site to watch the entire movie. Just goggle the title The long long trailer and when the options pull up go to this site. The first didn't work properly. Haven't watched this in many years but we had some side splitting laughs. Years ago , we did some of the same things they did in the movie so it hit home!!! Classic for those that ever towed a camper/ trailer...!!!!

Thumbs up

Great movie! I used to have that on VHS but not sure what happened to it. Thanks for the heads up on where to watch it online

I watched it for the first time about 2 years ago with my wife and it was great. I was a little edgy when they were driving on some of those narrow mountain passes, with trailer wheels nearly falling off the road.

Not sure if it is in the movie or just an I Love Lucy segment, but when she has the bright idea to cook dinner while Ricky is driving. My wife gets tickled just thinking about it, she has to stop to regain her composure when it happens.

Seeing a reference to the movie on a post here or in another RV forum, I ordered a DVD from Amazon, will watch it during our trip later in July.

Shirley has everything 'Lucy'. I mentioned this thread to her and she's packing the DVD for the next trip.

When Sweetie and I started camping together some thirty odd years ago, she started "Sweetie's Cool Rock Collection" She picks up a rock from most everywhere we stop. She can tell you where each one is from too. Some have made the fireplace mantle (petrified wood, an ax, a hammer, a hide scraper, a corn grinding stone and probably more that I can't think of) but most just line up on the curb for the driveway. When she started the collection I asked if she'd seen the movie but she hadn't. She has now though.

We watched it last night - so funny. We can remember when some major mountain roads were that hideous, and we've been on some in the back country almost that bad just recently! We want to show it to our son and daughter-in-law.

When this thread started, I found the DVD on Amazon.Com ... think it was all of $5.95. Well worth the cost.
