Who has wintered in Hemet CA

We retire this year and plan to head south for the winter and are thinking of spending a few months at the Golden Village Palms in Hemet CA. We have had good and bad feedback about Hemet but before we make our final plans we would like to here from people who have actually wintered there.

I haven't wintered there, but I'm all around the area at all times of the year.

What's your concern? Weather, or location? Weather is just ok for SoCal winter. Hemet isn't what I'd consider a "vacation town."
