Plugin Electric fireplace with front glass?

I am trying to find a plugin electric fireplace with front glass to place inside the lower center entertainment cabinet 29wide, 26 high 8"deep once doors are off. 2012 Passport 2510rb model
Problem I am having is finding one less then 8" deep to install. looked at 18" 23" and 26 " fireplaces but depth is over 8.78" any suggestion on a unit I can purchase?
Thanks

Just checked the manual on our Dimplex electric fireplace for our Fuzion. The rough opening is 9" deep.

Look on ebay. Search "Electric fireplace". I looked a month ago and there were many and some were only 6" deep. some friends of mine bought an electric fireplace place at Lowes for around $230. They just used the fireplace part and tossed out the cabinet. It looks and heats great. they hardwired theirs. We plan on doing the same thing but will be able to just plug it in.

7 inch deep fireplace

2011 bullet, first thing i did to my new bullet was to add a fireplace ordered the unit without cabinet online from Big Lots going by memory, "lol" cost about $200. only one 7 inch deep i could find, 30 inch and 26 inch high, came with a plug in cord and a remote but no thermostat 750 watts or 1500, heats all the living area on 750 no problem, i have the entertainment center with two doors at top then tv, then shelf, then two doors at bottom, removed bottom doors (installed them on dinennet bases) raised the shelf enough to give me 26 inches installed the fireplace and it fit so tight i just run a bead of black caulk around it no screws hasen't moved yet, i love it, my two 20 lb. tanks will last at least a month in cold weather. this mod took me about 4 hrs can't figuar out how to add a picture but if you need one be happy to e-mail you one direct. Phil

Installed fireplace

Well I finally installed my Electric fireplace. Installed metal mesh from Homedepot along the top of the fireplace for venting.
