spray for toilet

Has anyone added a standard kitchen spray head to clean the toilet? I saw this on a few new trailers in Hershey this weekend seems like a great addition

There are a couple of ways to do this. One, on Thetford toilets, at least the ones I've seen, there is a kit sold at RV parts locations that attaches to the flush valve and you can hang on the wall. You use it buy activating the flush valve and the spray head at the same time. Some have taken that kit or gotten a sprayer hose and fittings and tapped into the toilet supply line. The advantage to this is you can use the sprayer without activating the flush valve. The disadvantage is if you have small ones they can have all the fun in the world without having to activate the flush valve at the same time..........

One thing, if you don't have a separate shutoff valve on the toilet supply line, it would be a good time to put one on when you install a sprayer.

OK I'm either cheap or lazy. We just reach inside the shower grab the shower head on the hose and clean can even use hot water. I also do this to top off the black tank before leaving the campsite and going to dump station.

Installed one recently. Tapped into the line downstream of the foot pedal. Had it spliced into the water supply at first, but didn't like the thought of it being pressured up all the time(kids "washing" the bathroom, or leaks), so now it is only functional when the pedal is depressed.

Never thought of this before but it sounds like a great idea. I'm going to check into it.
