tv mounting

Has anyone installed a wall mount for a 22 in tv on the side wall in the bedroom of a Cougar 318. I would like to install it in the right front corner up close to the ceiling between the wardrobe and window. I am not sure if the wall panel would be strong enough to hold it. I would like to leave it in place while traveling. Any advice would be greatly apperciated.

Mine is not a 318 but similar construction. I mounted a piece of plywood across two of the aluminum studs and mounted a swivel arm mount to the plywood. I secure it while traveling with velcro straps. No problems in about 7500 miles.

Thanks Hank, That looks just like I wanted to do. One question did you use hollow wall fasteners in the alum frame, or just a self tapping screw. Don't want to mess this trailer up yet only a week old. Keystone just gave me this one to replace my 2009 360. I don't think they would give me another one yet.

I pre-drilled the plywood and then used self-drilling screws into the studs. (With a dab of Liquid Nails on each screw just for insurance.) I think that securing the tv while traveling is the key .... there is very little stress if it does not bounce around. Bungees or velcro straps work great.
