MAXXAIR Turbo/Maxx?

I am looking to replace the crappy little bathroom fan that came in my Passport with one of these units. I like the idea of not having to pull off the existing roof vent on a brand new trailer.

Has anyone else installed one of these? If so how do you like it?

I put one over the kitchen, works very well to pull out the odor. It is a little noisy even on low. Installation was easy.

the one you picked could work while raining- which could be nice.

I didn' t want to replace the roof vent on a new trailer either.

So I did the single speed Vortex fan upgrade and what an improvement. Real easy installation. It is a little noisy but it works 300% better. At the time there was no Vortex 2. Even at twice the price I think I would get the Vortex 2. Having a low/med/high would be nice and even though it is reversible, that would be a bonus but probably would not use.

Now I replaced my Maxx air vent cover with the newer high flow Maxx fanmate vent cover. Which is truely needed.

After all the installation, which was not hard at all. I turned the fan on and went to poke my head up to the roof. I could feel the breeze 8' away. Works like an attic fan for a house. Now taking a shower, there is no condensation anywhere. Very easy and happy camper, not a small fortune either.

I did the same as SLIMSHADIE. Also thinking of installing the vortex 2 in the living area.

All good input! I looked at the vortex but could not find much airflow data on the unit. I like the Turbo Maxx solution as it is two birds with one stone solutions and with some searching around I have found the unit fo about $230, so close to the cost of a Vortex II and a Vent cover.
