Angry Condensation in my Cougar 24RLS

HI Everyone: This is my first time on the forum. I have a Cougar 24RLS travel trailer. So far it has been great. However we went RVing at thanksgiving (Canadian thanksgiving) in which the temperature dropped to +6 degrees Celsius. We noticed that in the morning there was dampness at the top of the ceiling where wall meets ceiling. Also dampness behind mattress on the wall. I was able to remove it with paper towel. The furnace did come on a couple of times during the night. We tried opening the vents about an inch and this seemed to help a bit but the moisture was still on the wall behind head of mattress. Any ideas.

Welcome to the forum. You shouldn't be getting condensation on the walls or ceiling or your TT. You may get some on the windows if it is cold outside and you use the propane stove or furnace - this is not uncommon and can be reduced by keeping fresh air circulating inside the RV - either by a fan or opening the windows.
I would try to keep as much air moving inside your TT as you can without resulting in being uncomfortable to see if this helps.

It sounds to me like it is just moisture from breath while sleeping. We keep a fan running on low in the bedroom for that reason, although we haven't had the problem since we started using a fan in our pop-up days.

We get it every now and then if it is real cold - like snowing outside or something. I open a window, turn on one of the 2 shur-flo fans we have installed in the ceiling and it disappears in a few minutes.

We keep our trailer tight as a snap-pea when camping and it is cold, and run our electric heaters or furnace - so some condensation will take place!

As others have said keeping the air moving is key.....

Either by a fan or if you have a heat strip in the AC keep it on with the fan going, that does a great job keeping the air in motion.
