Friction hinged door

Our new Sprinter comes with a Friction Hinged entry door. Can anyone give me some advantages and/or disadvantages of the door. Thank you.

The door is basically designed to stop at any location while open. You can crack the door, open half way, or all the way and it will stay put. My sprinter has the same door and it takes some getting used to, but I don't have to worry about the wind slamming the door against the side of the trailer because it got away from me.
Door has full range of motion as any other.

Ditto

The door does take some getting use to, but it is better. Not having to worry about the wind blowing it shut or open and slamming the side of your camper..... After you get use to it, its great.....
