Canadian Tires

We are presently in Alberta moving toward Alaska. I have 16k miles on the Towmax tires and suspect that I will need to replace them before I get back to Va.

My question to Canadian readers: Where is the best place to buy tires in Canada, the best deals and brand? I have no problems buying another set of Towmax, they have served well. Canadian tire?

Thanks for any assistance and suggestions.

Onward through Alberta and BC, what wonderful country!

John

Canadian Tire would be one place to consider as they are all across Canada and sell most of the commonly found brands of tires. Not sure which brand(s) of RV tires they sell.

Other retailers which are found throughout BC are Kal Tire, Big O Tire, OK Tire and Auto Service, and Fountain Tire. Of these, I would recommend Kal Tire.
Sorry, but I can't give you much help with the "best deals and prices" part of your questions. I don't ever recall seeing any advertising of RV tires - let alone best deals on them. Most of the ads that come out seem to be on car and light truck tires.

There are, of course, smaller, local tire shops to be found in towns and cities along the way but be prepared to pay more for tires here than in the US.

If you are going to be passing through the Fraser Valley while in BC enroute to Alaska --- drop by and say hello.

Below is the TowMax web site. You can email them for CDN retailers.

Canadian tires

I recently had to purchase a trailer tire at Kal tire. It turned out all they had was Carlisle. We also have a company called Princess Auto in most major cities in B.C., they also sell trailer tires.

Kal tire

Yes, I found that out also when I needed 2 tires in Whitehorse. I ended up with 2 Goodyear Marathon tires from Fountain Tire. Turns out I had a bent axle which had to be replaced.
