Gas prices are dropping !! We checked ours out stayed in it a night at the dealer stayed in a nice motel for a night took a day off work and still saved a lot of money having it delivered 600 miles because the first 300 were free. The round trip cost and time off work didn't add up. Do the math and see what works

Its a long way to go 905 miles. I see $$$. Anyone have experience with the person that does the delivery?

Weve got to come back and get ours in a couple of days. 500 miles but have to bring the trade-in back. Too much luggage for the tv alone! Kinda sucks but the dw and I will treat it like a weekend getaway. 1000 miles might be pushing the weekend thing a lot.

I calculated what it’d cost me to pick one up, and it was the same as having it delivered. You may come out ahead either way if you can get a great price at the dealer.

I'd pick it up so I could do a walk thru BEFORE leaving dealers lot.

Did you negotiate non-Chinese tires?

While we were buying used we traveled 250 miles one way to pick ours up. We would have done this if was new. I feel that a PDI is very important new or used.

Howdy All;

I'd prefer to get mine from the dealer that I'm signing on the dotted line with.

1) Chances are the delivery driver just wants to leave as soon as possiable
and isn't able or allowed to do any 'adjustments to the RV 'on location'.

2) Doing the PDI prior to signing you can have ALL (or most), of the
discrepiencies attended to there or have arraingments in place to have
any fixed when the parts/whatever arrive.

3) If, should the negoations go 'south', you can walk away, and not be held
resposiable for the fees to drag it from and to the delivery location...

Just some random thoughts... yours may vary...
