Can someone post a close up picture of the LEDs mounted on the awning rail?

Here are a few. I'm out boondocking right now, so let me know if you want any other pictures.

Are your LEDs inside a tube or is that a cover on the channel you mounted them in? Do you have any pictures of the process when you were installing them? I think you provided me the list of components you bought from Amazon previously. Thanks.

It's an aluminum channel with plastic cover. I didn't take any pics during install. Basically, I used the extreme double sided 3m tape to put the aluminum channel against the gutter below the awning. Then I used the same tape inside the channel and stuck the LED strip to it.

Great thanks. How/where did end up adding the short cord for the dimmer?

It's inside the porch light housing.

I guess it is smaller than it looks. Thanks.

For reference, I used some stainless screws to reinforce my aluminum channel. The double sided tape is really strong, but the lip on the rain gutter made the mating surface not flat. I saw an area that was coming down a little, so I put ss screws through the gutter and sealed them with silicon.

Another issue I found was with the screws shorting out the LED. Any place you put a screw, you need to cover with electrical tape. The back of the strip can short in many places.
