Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach

Looking for recommendations for both for next year for full hookup. We will also have kids aged 2 to 16. Thanks!

We tried to get into First Landing in Virginia Beach but it was all booked. Got to book well in advance (months). We were able to get in to Kiptopeke State Park which is right across the bay from Virginia Beach and it has all 3 hookup with cable and wifi and its own beach. Reviews say its a nice park. We leave the end of July.

We stayed at the KOA at Virginia Beach (3miles from beachfront) and enjoyed both visits. Clean, nice staff, lots of things for kids to do at campground. Plus there is shuttle bus ($2.00 day pass) to beach, and some other destinations on the way to beach like the aquarium etc.

Have stayed at Myrtle Beach State Park and enjoyed walking right out to the beach. The KOA in DT Myrtle Beach has a lot of kids' activities. However bring your checkbook or blank credit card as it AIN'T CHEAP! We were there 4 years ago.

I would agree with Steveracer. We stayed at Virginia Beach KOA earlier this year. We loved it. It is a little expensive but convenient to the beach.
