Grayland Beach SP

We have a trip planned to meet the DS and his family at Grayland Beach SP on the central WA coast. We would appreciate input as to which route to take. We can take SR 4 out of Kelso and follow the river and the coast around to Grayland, or we can take SR 6 out of Chehalis, or SR 12 over to Aberdeen. All three routes are about the same distance from Kelso, so, it's more about sights to see, traffic, etc. Any folks familiar with the area have a preference?

On edit: oops! I guess I should have posted this in 'Freeways and Byways' ? My bad. Moderators - please move

Moved per OP's request
