melting step carpet?

This is kinda weird. Just put these on the new Bullet 3 days ago. Looked fine this AM and now they look like this. Nothing was spilled on them, and the TT is brand new and hasn't left the driveway. It looks like is was done with heat. The steps were in the sun, but that's not unusual. CW said I have 90 days to return them. We leave for the beach tomorrow-- I hope they last the thru the week...

Yeah I'd agree with hankaye, I've had my grey camco step covers for about 3 mths now and haven't had any problems. Shoot, we are in FL now and aren't having problems.

I had one that looked like that, but it was a few years old and some fool had the brainy idea to clean it with the pressure washer. I like the fiendish feline scratching post theory also.
