How hidden is hidden?

So looking to install a Maxx Airvent in my new bullet. I pulled the cover off for the trim piece thing on the living room i didnt see any wires visible. just the insulation. Does anyone know if there might be wires near by that i could find to tap into for power.

I have a different floor plan, so I do not know where your roof vent is in relation to your trailer.
In my previous Premier, I found that my vent wasn’t too far from the microwave. I pulled that out and tapped into the wires going to the 12v hood vent below the microwave. I was able to easily fish wires from the hood, above the microwave and to the vent. I had to make a small hole above the microwave to accomplish this, but, once the microwave was reinstalled it is hidden.

You can pretty much put the fan in any roof vent of your choice. As small as most trailers are, the air movement will exchange air in the entire trailer effectively. So, installing the "max-aire" or "Fan-tastic" in the bathroom serves a dual purpose. Plus, there are already 12VDC wires at that roof vent.

And, the benefit of not having it in the living room ceiling is reduced noise when you're trying to watch TV.

I have found there is always a power source nearby. Maybe a light fixture, but don't wire into one that is on a switch, the only time the fan will run is when the light is switched on.

Excellent point. When I installed mine, I found an outlet that was always on. The outlet was on the underside of a kitchen cabinet. I ran the wire for the MaxxFan through the cabinet where it wasn't visible.

My mistake, I'm getting old. Maybe it was an under cabinet light that I tapped off of. 12 Volt... right?
