Auto level rides real high

After running auto level on my 322MLS the Morryde Steps were too high. Seems like all of the levelers are very extended. When I put my steps down they were 8 inches from the ground fully extended.

My parking spot is a bit out of level, 2x10 under door side tires but not enough out of level for two!

I’d have 4 inch blocks under all leveler legs. I’d also manually level it and calibrate the auto level after manual leveling.

I don't know what type of leveler system you have, but on my trailer with the LCI Ground Control 3.0, I find that if I lower the tongue of the trailer before leveling, it levels with the trailer lower to the ground - and I run less of a chance of getting an 'out of stroke' error.

Got the Lippert Auto leveling system. Did the lowering, added big 4x4 blocks under each leg, lowered front. Manually leveled, set the zero. Redid auto level and got to the max extend of stairs vs. the 8 inch rise! Will be moving trailer and digging out dirt to get a more level area. Found that if the left side is higher the stairs will be very high!

is your trailer level? something isn't right....it sounds like you are on a weird site that is not very level. if you have your trailer level then your steps are just in a way low spot. move is the best suggestion

We have a great auto level system on our RV, but that doesn’t mean our steps are always a comfortable height off the ground once we are level. An adjustable step comes in handy quite often. Even on a slope, you can adjust the legs to get a fairly level step.
