2009 Montana LED Tail light upgrade

Can anyone tell me if they have had any experience with any suitable replacement stop/turn/tail LED light on a 2009 Montana. That particular model has the 70's Chevy pickup type of tail light assembly that wraps around the corner.
Thanks!

You might try doing a forum search of this topic. There are extensive threads and posts already here on the forum about LED lights in general as well as some that have been posted about LED turn/back up/brake lights. Some members have done this mod and have posted pics along with a detailed description of components used. I can't recall any mods that have been done involving the wrap-around style. Hope this helps.

In the Modifications and Upgrades section, there is a "sticky" at the very of the thread list entitled: LED Replacement Lights http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2121 I suggest you read it over carefully.

There is another thread on LED's where I posted a fairly long and detailed informational note about LED's and brightness. You will find that useful, I think. Short version is that whatever LED you select, it has to be 402 lumens on the stop/turn function to equal the brightness of an incandescent S/T/T bulb.

I suspect your fixtures will use the 1156/1157 type bulbs. Just make sure you pick ones that are bright enough and that are shaped to fill the fixture with light properly.
