Arrow New Bullet owner :)

Hello! My husband and I... 2 boys (10 & 12)... our Vizsla and our little rugrat of a dog will be enjoying our 2012 Bullet 230bhs soon...It is still being built. We are from beautiful Colorado, but plan on visiting may new places around the US! I have posted some questions on the "Keystone Bullet Owner" forum... I hope you guys have a lot of advice for us! (Where to go, what to buy, what not to buy, driving tips ...etc...)

We are pulling it with a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and a 2009 Dodge Durango 5.7 Hemi. Since this is our first experience with travel trailers...We can really use the help. Thanks!

Barbara

We also just purchase new 230BHS Bullet

Well, we are moving up from a Trailmanor to new 230BHS. My wife and I really like the layout and with two growing grandsons (Twins, 11 years old) we need the bunkbeds. I have a 1/2 ton Sierra with a 7300 lb tow weight that I plan using to tow my baby. I've been looking for a hitch setup and it looks like to me the equalizer is one of the best. Anyone have any experience or advice. We are suppose to pickup our trailer next week. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Hitch opinion and more... A little too late. sorry!

My apologies for the very late reply. I didn't see a notice that someone posted to this thread. I hope you are enjoying your Bullet 230bhs! Ours is actually a 2013 west floor plan (which means it has the 3 windows on the slide and the dinette is u-shaped.) We wanted that style because someone told us the breeze coming through the camper would be better.... And we are finding that it is nice! We just wish the top bunk was a little breezier for our son. It can get warm up there if the AC isn't on.

Anyway, about the hitch. Hope you are liking yours. We went with the Anderson anti-sway Hitch. It is awesome! No bars to deal with, quiet.... Can't even hear it behind you as you are driving. Very smooth!

Please let me know your thoughts and experiences with your 230 bhs.... The good, the bad, etc. would love to compare notes.

Hi Barbara,
Welcome from some fellow Arvada, CO residents. If you need any ideas for storage lots, we are happy to share what we have found. We just got back from a trip to Twin Lakes (south of Leadville - Whitestar Campground). Absolutely beautiful!! Hope you and the family enjoy your new camper and all the great places our state has to visit!
