Cool New to Keystone not new to RVing or towing

Just purhased 2013 Laredo 266RL will pick up on Saturday Will pull it with a
1999 Ford F-350 dually 7.3 diesel with no modifiations . I am installing a PullRite super 5th 16k with industry standard rails bought from Tweetys .com
I printed off the PDI and told the dealer to be prepared for a long inspection
and systems check.Bought the 5th wheel from camping world and I am looking at the Good Sam extended Service plan. notice no roof repair included in the plan was told non of the extended service plans offer a roof warrenty
I welcome all advice from the experienced travelers Be safe All -Todd
PS are those lube plates a good thing to use or should I just grease the plate

Hello Todd and welcome to the forum. I never grease the white plate --- if you are referring to the white disc that is inserted above the pin. Glad to hear that you are using the PDI and that you will be spending a long time with your inspection.

Thumbs up

Welcome Todd, and congrats on your new Laredo.

We have the 265RL... Love it!

The roof already has a 12-year warranty, so any extended warranty plan would expire sooner.
Your 'new owner' packet should contain the roof warranty info.

Lube plate works great... and no messy grease needed!

Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

from another Left Coaster!
Enjoy your new 5er, we love ours, Keep the plastic plate dry, and just a little white grease on the pin.
