Best TPMS

Hi I just put new Sailuns on our 5ver yesterday and feel better about them then the China bombs from Keystone. I guess we'll see. On that note does anyone like or dis like the TST 507 tpms with the flow through sensors? Good and bad please.

Don't bother me any to highjack the post lol. I've heard guys don't like them because they stick out a long ways. Potential to bend and break from centrifugal force.

I think you will find that the TST 507 is probably the most popular TPMS system on this forum. I've had mine over 6 years and had nary a problem. The cap sensors stick out a very small amount (I use them) and might cause issues with a rubber valve stem. I ran mine on rubber stems for 2 years without a problem but they were 80psi rated stems so don't know about the lower rated ones. A TPMS is worth every cent you pay for them and are a must IMO.

We are in our fifth year with the 507 system. No problems. Replaced the batteries a year ago, but just because I thought it was time. And I didn't understand the 'hijack thread' comment from big417.

I use the 507's as well but opted to not use the flow-thru because of the height and the fact that it isn't a big deal to unscrew the cap when I need to adjust the pressure.

The TST 507 has worked well for us since installed 6 years ago. No problem with the flow through sensors. Metal valve stems are recommended. Also, we have not needed a repeater.
I've managed to "scrub" the curbs a couple of times but have not damaged the sensors.

I am doing a direct comparison (only such test as far as i know) of TST internal vs TireTraker external. Data and results so far are posted on my RV Tire safety blog.
Both do as advertised. i.e. warn of loss of air.
I do advise that everyone run a test of each sensor at least once a year.
I also find that by running an extra 10% margin on air pressure I do not need to add air other than a couple times a year as My pressure stays within my 0% to +10% inflation margin.

OP posed the original question in a different, unrelated thread and it was moved to a thread of it's own. The highlighted comment was referring to that situation.
