Step adjustment

New hideout 26lhswe steps won’t sit on ground even with legs fully extended any tips on how to adjust? Taking back to dealer not option at this point. Thanks

I am figuring you have the solid steps. The only adjustment I know of is the extensions. If they are all the way out and still not touching the ground Then I have to wonder how HIGH your trailer is off the ground.

i'd talk to lippert or morryde directly. I've never heard of that issue before.



And, like above, I assume you have the rigid steps and not the fold out steps.

I do have the solid steps. I think they got sprung some how. I put feet in all the way and gently pushed down to put some more bend in them. Seems to have worked

Doing that, you probably performed at least a four hour warranty adjustment to fix the steps.

When my TT was new had issue with my parking spot. One side was 12 inches below the passenger side where the door is. Got it leveled with my automatic leveling system, then stairs wouldn’t reach! Ya my passenger tires were hanging in the air! Fix was to even out my parking spot better, then all is good!
