TV & Internet services

Hi all, does anyone have experience with TV and Internet services available in Canada that are good value? We are thinking of cancelling our home cable (Shaw) and going to Satellite so that we can have a dish and receiver in our Couger as well.... I am not very tech savvy... Is this possible?

Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks
Alan and Jill

All our Canadian snowbirds here in Arizona have Shaw Sat service. You are on your own while in the US as they will not support you. However they all like having to home news, hockey etc. Chris

Good......Value for tv & internet in Canada is an oxymoron. Not going to happen. Do what most of us do. Phone them and NEGOTIATE a price. Works if you say the right stuff. And don't bargain with the front line person ask for client services supervisor. When we were on the Island in Sept. we had Shaw 150 speed internet for $50/mo. all in. In fact we left a few days early and the bill was $43. Good luck in your quest.
