Contrand in black tank

Have a 2014 Montana 3610rl that I bought in November of last year. Ever since day one I have have off and on black tank valve leaks. Some times it was a trickle and other times more of a messy flood. Knowing it would take 6 weeks to get it worked on I decided to hell with the wait. What I found when I dropped the under belly was sad mess. The fitting on the black tank was spewing water. When I took the valve apart what I found was certainly a surprise. Out of the black tank opening came a half dozen or so of some type of tablet. They are about the size of a large nutritional supplement. They are hard and didn't dissolve. After finding the surprise I started blasting out the tank. Went thru the toilet with a sewer cleaning bladder on a water hose and used the flush system at the same time. These suckers were flowing like acorns in a stream. Somebody had put a large handful of them down the toilet. That's got to be a low point of what I've seen in the RV industry.

Now that's a new one for me. I've seen lots of "stuff" come out of brand new tanks, but never anything like what you describe. Maybe they were "smart" pills for the decal guy.

My first thought as I read was some type of black tank sanitizer or odor control pills but, any of that would have turned to powder or liquid. Now lets guess did they go into the tank at the factory or on the lot.

I hope you still have them. Maybe take them to a few local RV shops and get their opinion.

Maybe the RV transporter ate at a truck stop?

Let us know if you figure that one out.

Wouldn't mind posting a pic of the offending pellets would ya?
(with something to give a scale like a ruler or tape measure)
Thanks.

Took a picture of them the other day while they were on the cement. Didn't think to measure them. Tried to load the picture, didn't work. I'm using Tapatalk.

Maybe it was an employees last act of defiance as he was being fired?
Or someone's 6 year old having fun on the showroom?
I'm giving their shop in League City a try at repairing (warranty) the casualty list after our 2 spring trips.
Actually, League City would be a bit closer for you.
