Scissor Jacks

I'm going to purchase some scissor jacks for my 25 ft Cabana. My clearance from support to ground is 14 inches so I know I have to use 24 inch jacks. Should I buy the 5000 lb or the 7500 lb jack? Is the 7500 overkill d/t the size of my trailer. Thanks for your expert input.

Since the primary purpose of the scissor jack is to provide stability for your Cabana and not for lifting, I would suggest that a 5000 lb jack would be sufficient. While each jack does bear/support some trailer weight, you shouldn't be using it to raise or lower your unit.

5000 is plenty. You will only be lifting a fraction of that, and then, only up a small amount.
