New to towing
I am looking for info concerning my TV. I am looking at a Keystone premier that weighs 4150. My TV has a GCWR of 11500, it is a 2006 ford f150 4x4 which weighs about 5800. It is a shortbed regular cab with a 4.6 V8. Will this truck pull this TT safely?

It will pull it fine as long as the loaded weight of the trailer does not exceed the towing capacity of the truck. As with all 1/2 ton trucks, the shortcoming is going to be payload. Be sure to add about 13% of gross trailer weight and the weight of the hitch to your payload calculations

I think you should be fine, don't believe the sticker weight of the camper. It might say 4150lbs but I will bet ya it's more, and WOW an F-150 able too carry 11500lbs that's more than my F-250 diesel. The most important piece is making sure your WD hitch is set up properly, that is what will make your towing a pleasure or a nightmare.

Hansel,
The OP didn't say his F-150 could carry 11500 lbs. He said his GCWR is 11500 lbs. That's the Gross Combined Weight Rating (Truck and trailer) Not the GVW, Gross Vehicle Weight.
GCWR and GVWR are two separate ratings that are not the same on any vehicle (unless it can not tow any trailer)

That's one of the reasons we have this forum, to "un-confuse" GVWR, GCWR, GAWR, etc..... Usually it works, but sometimes it confuses even more

When I had a 4.6 f150 it could tow 5700 lbs so I upgraded to a 5.4 to tow 8600 lbs so I had a little more choice on trailers.

I would not tow with that size engine. It will do it, but it's going to struggle. The dry weights are never right and you have to include passengers and so on.. in the weight. The truck can handle that weight, the engine not so much.
