Dometic 310 toilet valve

Our toilet valve has just broken again and was replaced under warranty just about 5 months ago. Each time prior to failure there was this hammering in the water line after the flush. Researching this I have found there is a vacuum breaker available that can be installed prior to the toilet flush valve. Our rig is the 2012 345 Avalanche(just out of warranty). Anyone else have this problem/any suggestions? Thanks.

We have not had a broken valve, but, when the valve closes, there is a loud thump (pressure hammer?). Thanks for posting - I guess we need to look into this as a preventative measure.
