Preferred battery configuration

What is your preferred battery configuration? Two 6 volts? 12volt? Two 12 volt in a series? Lithium?

I’m going to be buying a new battery before long and I’m not opposed to different setups. I would like to have a long lasting output but not sure if I can afford the cost of a lithium set up. I usually have access to power but l will do a little boondocking in the national forest in spring and just want an efficient setup for a reasonable price.

I was just wanting to hear your thoughts or experience with your setup or what you’d like as far as onboard power for your rig.

It all depends on your power demands and camping style.

Always hook ups? A single gp 24 will do the job. What are your specific needs?

Two 6 volts wired in series or 2 12 volt wired parallel, your choice.
DO NOT wire 2 12 volts in series, nothing in your rv is 24 volt.
If using 12 volt be sure they are deep cycle batteries not marine type cranking batteries. If CCA, CA or MCA listed on top they are cranking batteries. You need the highest aH (Amp hours) rating listed on them.
