Slide-out cable pulley questions

Had an issue this morning with one slide-out. It appears that the bracket for the IN cable and the bracket for the OUT cables might have hooked together and then banged free. Got that all squared away BUT in looking at the cables and brackets I see one cable that was quite slack. The bracket has adjusting nuts to apply or reduce tension.

Is it safe to assume that the cable should be moderately tight and that the adjustments should be roughly equal on both the top and bottom of the bracket?

Thanks in advance.

Here's a couple three YouTubes that may help illustrate what you read in the manual...

I just found out that the kitchen slide in the 2021 fifth wheel that I'm looking at is not a BAL Accu-slide cable system. It is a new cable design that BAL recently started producing. It is called a BAL Exact-Slide with Emforce (that M is not a mistake) Technology. It uses a motor mounted on each side and the cables are only on the sides. In other words, no cables are running across the top like you see with the Accu-slide. Has anyone used one of these yet??
