2021 Passport SL 268BH...

Have a couple of questions I can’t seem to find the answer to. Maybe you guys can help.

1. Where is the connection to the 4G LTE/WIFI prep at in the trailer?

2. There is a big unlabeled on/off switch on my control panel. Have no clue what it’s for?

I have a 2020 passport 2600BH GT and my wifi prep is on the ceiling in the kitchen near the bedroom door wall... nothing in it of course have to buy the furion modem/card...
As for the unlabeled switch mine turns on the blue under table lights and the cabinet lights... Hope it helps...

Sewer Hose Storage

Sorry to hijack your thread but was hoping as a 268bh owner you could help answer a question for me.

I noticed there is no rear bumper on this model so does it come with a slot underneath to store the sewer hose?

No worries. That’s what we are here for.

Mine came with a 24 inch tube in the front of the trailer that fits one sewer hose. I honestly Find it useless So I decided to just store all my sewer stuff together in a heavy duty plastic container in the pass through storage.

That being said. You may be able to install one where a bumper would go. Seems like there is plenty of room down there.

Or you could buy a 6" plastic "post cover" from Home Depot or Lowe's, mount it under the trailer, install a 5" plastic "rain gutter" in it as a "drawer" and cap the ends with "fence post caps" (also from HD or Lowe's). Total cost, around $30.

Thanks!

Thanks for the intel and tips, greatly appreciated.

Now that you have the trailer for a few trips, anything surprise you or you wish you knew before you bought? Am pretty keen on this model!

Has anyone attempted to attach a fence post for the sewer pipe underneath a 2021 268BHS? Other than a Rubbermaid container any other ideas? Thanks

You can attach a "fence post cover" under any trailer. The type of frame determines which hardware you'd need to use to attach to the frame...

As for Rubbermaid containers. Think about what is on the ground around every dump station.... They are all "saturated with black tank spills"... If you drag a Rubbermaid container out of your passthrough, set it on the ground, remove the lid, dump your tanks, "meticulously" clean your hoses, put them back in the Rubbermaid container and lift it back into your passthrough, think what is "stuck to the bottom of the Rubbermaid container an what is now being "ground into the floor of your passthrough.......

While many people do use such containers to store their sewer dumping equipment, I'd suspect that only a very few realize what they are "smearing all over the inside of their trailer storage area.....

The drug smugglers found out many years ago the "plastc storage bags and containers" are not truley "air tight". The point about dragging it in the "dirt" is enough for me.
