Bullet 308BHS - Power question

Howdy all! We have a 2014 Bullet 308BHS. 30 amp service. The unit had been in storage and the battery was fully discharged. I connected to shore power and found that nothing electrical would work. I checked the fuse box and found one 15 amp fuse was blown. If memory serves it was slot 7 for LP.

All appliances and slides still did not work with the battery charged. Once the fuse was replaced, I was back in business. Any thoughts on why the replacement of that fuse was necessary to get powered up again?

I was plugged in to 50 amp service with adapter. Power was good as noted by the surge protector and operation of my folks 5th wheel when I had it plugged in.

Thanks in advance! Just trying to learn a little more behind the electrical scheme

How long did you wait after you plugged in to the 30A outlet before you assumed your battery was fully charged?

Note that deep cycle batteries can not take discharges like this. If it is a true deep cycle battery, you should not take it below 50% State of Charge (SOC). If it's a marine/combo battery, you should not take it below about 80% SOC.

If you fully discharge, then you reduce the efficiency of the battery and reduce it's over all life by some large amount (I think 80%?).
