Las Vegas parking

We are going on a multi night trip in the grand canyon that departs from vegas. Any suggestions on where to leave the 5vr?

Oasis RV Park gets pretty good reviews by people staying there and they have RV storage.

There are probably other less expensive places outside of town, but for just a few nights, hopefully Oasis will work out.

Raft trip? If yes, try asking the raft trip company if they might have a suggestion. They are very helpful and "know the territory".

are you talking about storing it for days or you want a camp ground to set it up in while you are rafting?

If you are a Elk/Moose etc member, many of their lodges have facilities you can use.

We are rafting for 4 days, 3 nights. It would be nice to have it setup and ready for showers and stuff when we returned but that's not a major. Maybe work with Oasis for storage and then a site when we return. We could just take a taxi from the cg. Booking agency first suggested long term parking since we meet at the airport but I don't like the security (or lack thereof). Thanks for the suggestions.

Dwighop -

Hmm, 4 days, 3 nights? Are you going to chopper in to Whitmore? Send me a PM. I've done the full canyon twice. It's that geology-thing, you know.

As far as parking is concerned, I sent an email to my friend at Grand Canyon Expeditions. Nan sent an email to her housing contact in Las Vegas and got the following reply:
+++++++++++++++
Good Morning Nan,
There are several options:
http://www.circuscircus.com/las_vega...l/rv_park.aspx
http://www.oasislasvegasrvresort.com/
http://www.samstownlv.com/stay/rv-park
I believe Southpoint Casino offers some type of RV or large vehicle parking too as well as Sam's Town as you had mentioned.
I have provided some links above so that the passenger can research the options at their leisure.
Thanks for asking. .
Have a great week!
Cynthia

Hope this helps.
