303 application

2012 Copper Canyon:

What is the best way to apply this to my roof?

Just washed it down good with Dawn dish soap. Just got a gallon of 303 this afternoon .

So, it seems the simplest way to apply it would be with a garden sprayer, then spread it thin. Yes?, No? What is your experience.

By-the-way: all my seams look good so I didn't crack open the DiCor

Our sponge mop was missing in action so I used a microfiber towel to spread the 303 on the roof and all the plastic parts up there. The sponge mop might have been overkill and used too much 303, anyway.

This^^^^^^^^. Sponge mop will work but I found it applied to much protectant and actually left the roof a little sticky. Microfiber cloth also enables me to use a little elbow grease to "rub it in". A little 303 goes a long way - did our roof with less than a quart.
