Thumbs up Tom Sawyer's RV Park

Two years ago we took the travel trailer to see our kids in Texas. We stopped along the way at Tom Sawyer's RV Park in West Memphis, Arkansas.

It was really something staying along the banks of the Mississippi River watching the barges go up and down.

We typically overnight in the West Memphis area when we travel to/from Indiana to see family.

Unfortunately, like so many others along the Mississippi River, Tom Sawyer's was completely underwater
& had major damage during this year's spring floods.

On our last trip (late June), they were 'open' again but with very limited services. We have our fingers crossed
that it's soon repaired "good as new"... a nice/peaceful place to stay... love watching the barges!

We were there for 3 nights the end of August last year.

It was fun watching the barges go back and forth.

You can see by the way they have their laundry house set up that they know they get flooding problems........
