Hanging party lights?

I bought some party lights to hang on the camper awning but wondering what you all would recommend to hang them. We bought some hooks that can slide into the awning slide bar but not sure that will work. We didn't see where we could slide them in? Also do not want to harm anything. We are very new to this. This may be a stupid question but we are learning.

We have a 2015 keystone hideout.

Awning clips

Hello, we use the camco slide in awning clips. There should be a channel on your awning roller that they slide in. I remove them before the awning goes back in. There are also alligator style clips that attach to the flap. That style would be easier to put up and take down. Hope this info helps

We like the look of them on the awning, but we don't hang ours there, because we have to put the awning in when it's windy, which is usually all the time. We put them scalloped across the wheel skirts of ours. There's a little lip on the inside of the skirt, and we use chip bag clips (but the expensive kind that have a long, narrow round point, if that makes sense) to secure them. At the steps we just put them behind. Ours are solar. Party lights are fun.
