We are just like the people from Texas, our camping season is just beginning. We went to Texas in June and that was about all for the summer. After we get this house and settle in, then we will camp.

Another Southern Ontarian here ... We are heading to Algonquin Park for the Thanksgiving weekend, then the following weekend I have a "guys" camping weekend to attend, Then the last weekend in October we will be doing a Halloween Camping weekend at a Provincial Park. After that we'll winterize, but we still have two possible camping trips left, one in November and another at New Years..

October Camping

Headed to Finger Lakes srea...Ithaca on Oct 11for s 4 day weekend. Hope fall colors sre still there. The leaves are turning fast here in SE PA.

Will camp unless it freezes. It smowed on Halloween here a cpl years back then Nov was beautiful. Winterized ahesd of the storm and regretted not taking the TT out in Nov.

Will play it by ear or, better yet, by thermometer.

Mabry Mill! Ah, buckwheat pancakes (stone ground at the mill), maple syrup, fresh eggs and VA cured ham. And absolutely gorgeous fall foliage as a backdrop. Ranks as one of my 10 best ever meals. And mills : )
Cholesterol be damned!
