Noisey

I am back to RV'ing. This time I bought a passport 2890RL. It is 33 ft. I have a GMC with heavy duty towing package. According to the Manufacturer capable of towing another 3700 lbs. I got a pro series WD Hitch with sway control from the dealer. It tows easily with no sway or bouncing. It handles surprisingly well. The problem I have it that upon turning, it moans and groans and sometimes pops. Is this the sway bar, or is something amiss with the hitch system? Last thing we had to tow was a pop-up and almost 25 yrs ago. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like the sway bar to me. Our sway bar makes those sort of noises.

Mine made a lot of noise also, I put lithium grease on the friction area and it's a lot quieter. The first time t heard it was when I picked it up new and it was my first TT. I thought when I was pulling it out I hit something and had the service department look at it. They told me what it was and what to do

Exactly- and from time to time I clean things up and apply new lithium grease. Don't forget to lube the hitch ball (liberally) also.
Happy trails,

Happy trails,
Same here, I have the Reese dual cam sway bar WDH system. I freaked when I first heard the noise. Although the directions do say it will make noise.
