2014 - 238ML Wheel Bearings

Hey Folks,

We have a 2014 - 238ML and I wanted to replace the inner and outer wheel bearings.

I was hoping to be able to order them, pick them up and replace them at a different location, but the auto parts stores I called said that they need the part number of the existing inner and out wheel bearings to be able to see if they have them in stock or need to order them.

Would anyone happen to know the part numbers or know how I could find them, without having to remove them 1st?

Thank you!
Kev...

You can try looking in the back of the Dexter Axle Manual for your model. If you don't have the manual try this link https://www.dexteraxle.com/user_area...ice_manual.pdf.

You can also try etrailer.com as they have a helpful website and customer service dept. that can answer any questions.

You must replace the outer race when replacing bearings. They are ground to fit and you shouldn't mix races and bearing when cleaning and packing them. If you dont they will wear and fail prematurely.

If you going to dive into bearings and seals you may as well get this:

And jack stands, vynl gloves, a rolling mechanic's stool, box of wipes, spare hose clamps, spare fuse assortment, some work gloves, a bearing grease packer, a digital 1/2" drive torque wrench, oh, and don't forget to pick up a sale flyer when you get a cart!

What? Am I the only one that shops like that at HF?
