Current backup cams, which one?

Watching user videos of the various "best" cam system. My main interest is to be able to back into my home space in the dark, it is a very difficult spot as it is, in the dark, well I can't hear the wife screaming to stop.....she still can't out yell the diesel, yuk, yuk.

These systems seem to upgrade yearly, and I am finding older information, but after 2021, not much.

Your preferences and why you prefer them please.

I have a halo view with rangefinder antenna …works great on a 35’ fifth wheel
Don’t know how well it works in the dark because I don’t usually tow in the dark.

You could always wire up a backup light to help …some of the newer toyhaulers have them built in up high now

It isn't so much about the light, most all have the infrared lighting which is adequate, along with the fact my home security cams that light that area up have them also.

The halo seems the best to me so far, but daymn it is sure expensive. Part of my concern is many if not most really have no support or technical services. If they don't work you are SOL!

Haloview seems to have a very good reputation. I currently have this one. It's done well so far after 2 years.

Not really. It can stutter a little bit but mostly lets me keep an eye on what' going on directly behind me when parking or when using the cargo deck on the back of our trailer.

I don't have any experience with any other system so can't speak as to whether a more expensive system will always provide smooth video or not. Some install a wired system to avoid any lag or stuttering.
